Jennifer Redding is a Law Clerk in Harwood Andrews Lawyers’ family law department.

Jennifer has considerable experience in the area of family law.

Our family law clerks provide valuable assistance and support to the lawyers in our family law department. They have experience across a broad range of family law issues and procedures and frequently liaise between our lawyers and our clients. They respond to calls and answer queries from our clients as well as other lawyers and professionals.

Our clerks are often the first point of contact for our new clients. Fortunately they understand the emotional nature of the circumstances many clients are facing when making the decision to obtain legal advice on family law issues, and are able to respond to our clients’ enquiries with empathy and compassion.

The scheduling of our clients’ appointments with our lawyers, with barristers, mediators, accountants and other experts involved with their files is usually handled by our law clerks. Our clerks are also responsible for a variety of tasks associated with each family law file, whether the file involves financial or parenting issues, or a combination of both.

On files involving financial settlements, our clerks often implement many aspects of the settlement once final orders have been made. This typically involves steps such as the transfer of real estate between the parties, a payment by one party to the other and refinancing of loans. They also undertake many aspects of divorce applications.
