Adam Wightman is a Lawyer in Harwood Andrews Lawyers’ family law department.

Adam has practised in the ever changing and complex area of family law since his admission to legal practice. Adam has been involved with a number of very complex divorce settlement cases which have equipped him with the skills he now applies for the benefit of our family law clients.

Adam is committed to helping our clients through the difficulties associated with a separation. He provides support, advice and guidance as to how the law applies to our clients’ specific situations, and understands the complexities and challenges associated with family law proceedings.

Adam is particularly interested in the drafting of prenuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements as well as the taxation effects of divorce settlements. 

Adam’s principal areas of practice are:

•   Parental responsibility and child custody law
•   Divorce settlements
•   Prenuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements
•   De facto disputes
•   The Taxation implications of divorce settlements 

Adam is a Committee member of the Geelong Law Association and is one of the Association’s pro bono duty lawyers, a function he considers an important part of his contribution to the community.

Adam also serves on the committee of The Old Geelong Collegians Association. His interests outside the law include journalism, running, rock‘n’roll dancing, films and film history.
