Hugh McKenzie was admitted to practise in 1971. He holds degrees of Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Economics.

Hugh has broad general experience having worked over his lengthy legal career in many areas of law. He has experience in litigation and court work, property law, business and commercial law and wills and estates.

Reflecting his humanitarian outlook Hugh has been involved in numerous community groups including child care, hospice, hospitals and adoption organisations. Recently he has also been involved in an enquiry into aboriginal land issues after being selected to the position based on previous experience and expertise in dealing with complex community issues.

Hugh was a principal of Doyle Considine for many years prior to the merger of Geelong law firms to form the current Harwood Andrews Lawyers in 2004. He is a “lawyer for all seasons” whose consultancy skills are sought out and appreciated. These days he focuses his attention on wills, estates and succession planning.
