Child support for children under 18 is calculated by the Federal Government’s Child Support Agency. We can assist parents in applying to the Child Support Agency for a review if there has been a change of circumstances since an assessment has been made. We also provide advice in relation to child support agreements and arrange registration of agreements or orders with the Child Support Registrar.
We also provide advice and representation for clients seeking maintenance for children over the age 18 if they have a reason for being financially dependant on their parents, such as students or adult children with a mental or physical disability.
